Accio...

I'm not ashamed to admit that I frequently wish I had magical powers.
Mostly, I wish that the Harry Potter spells I yell out would produce some sort of result.

The one I wish I had most often is Accio... the summoning charm.
'Twould be very helpful in looking for lost things.

Curse my Muggleness.

    Robbie & I had an extremely heated discussion about the pronunciation of "accio." He won. Darn his crazy Latin smarts!

New Most Embarrassing Moment

Tonight Rob was warming up for his hockey game, so I was home alone. I heard a loud knock at the door, and looked through the peephole to see who it was. I didn't recognize the man, so I just stood there silently and realized that my door wasn't locked. He'd know I was home if he heard me lock the door (which obviously would be horrible). So obviously I just left it unlocked. After he rang the doorbell to no answer, he opened my door. I was pretty proud of how quickly I was able to slam the door shut and turn the deadbolt. I started thinking of the things in the room that would double as a weapon, but then I heard him call out, "It's the maintenance guy." Whoops. At least we'll get a working furnace out of the ordeal.

Today I was Responsible

Went to class, didn't text during a single one. Ate leftovers for lunch with the Mister. Went to my work meeting, and told too many jokes (I'll take 1/2 credit). Finished my resume so I can apply for teaching internships.  What has marriage done to me?
