Coincidence

It was this girl's birthday yesterday. I'm sure glad I got to spend the day with her. (Oh, and the evening with him). Holly and I lived together, but quite a few situations had to coincide for that to work out. I'm sure glad they did. She's an awesome friend, and a wonderful person. 

I've realized that I don't believe in coincidences. I think the Lord has his hand in the 'chance' in life. I have my agency of course. I can choose what do to with anything that comes my way. I can choose who I'll be friends with, but the Lord sends people my way who will be just what I need when I need it. I'm so grateful for a Heavenly Father who loves me.

New Most Embarrassing Moment

Tonight Rob was warming up for his hockey game, so I was home alone. I heard a loud knock at the door, and looked through the peephole to see who it was. I didn't recognize the man, so I just stood there silently and realized that my door wasn't locked. He'd know I was home if he heard me lock the door (which obviously would be horrible). So obviously I just left it unlocked. After he rang the doorbell to no answer, he opened my door. I was pretty proud of how quickly I was able to slam the door shut and turn the deadbolt. I started thinking of the things in the room that would double as a weapon, but then I heard him call out, "It's the maintenance guy." Whoops. At least we'll get a working furnace out of the ordeal.

Today I was Responsible

Went to class, didn't text during a single one. Ate leftovers for lunch with the Mister. Went to my work meeting, and told too many jokes (I'll take 1/2 credit). Finished my resume so I can apply for teaching internships.  What has marriage done to me?
