Powerless

I moved into a new apartment yesterday. Because of a mix-up with the power company, we had no power for the first night (the lights are on now, never fear). Sarah, Kara, and I decided to make the best of it with a candle party (complete with s'mores).

Me, Sarah, and Kara (Sorry, some are blurry. We turned the flash off so you could get the candle-lit effect.)

Sarah likes her s'mores burned.

Kara has the technique down. She perfectly browns her mallows and then lights them on fire for that smoky flavor. Yum.

I'm a bit more picky with my mallows. No burning for me thanks!

This is almost too artistic for me... good thing Sarah took this picture.

 We might have another candle party, but we hope we'll be able to turn on the lights when we're done next time.
